own, which makes it very difficult to implement and control security measures. Since we are working away from the office more and more often, security is paramount. We want both our personal and work lives to be secure, whether we’re at the office or in a coffee shop. Technology should enable innovation in the classroom too. Our OneLife concept extends to the classroom, with mobile devices and innovative tools like augmented and virtual reality making learning experiences more immersive. Delivery of basic information can also be automated, freeing teachers to offer more meaningful, individualized instruction. INFUSING MACHINE LEARNING INTO OUR DEVICES With the combination of big data and Artificial Intelligence, we’re transitioning from the Information Age to the Experience Age. In the Information Age, it was all about empowerment, which was supplying the right information at the right time to make an informed decision. The Experience Age is much more about anticipating needs and providing the experience before you even realize that you need it. 40% 30 to 40% of workers telecommuted for at least some portion of their workweek. 50% Over 50% of searches are now done with our voice instead of our fingers. The future of computing will leverage systems that can learn from experiences. We know things like training sessions can take days to complete, so 24/7 operation is critical. That’s why we introduced HP’s Z Workstations 3 , the optimal platform for leading-edge computing environments. When you need real-time interaction, low latency and top-notch security on massive data sets, cloud computing can’t compare with local Z Workstation power. They are optimized for machine-learning training and deliver best-in-class productivity for developers. As we continue to think, design and deliver following our OneLife concept, we’re excited to bring our customers more innovations that will transform the way we work, learn, and play. 1 www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=17549366011 2 www.btod.com/blog/2016/11/08/how-technology-is-changing-the-way-people-work-from-home 3 www8.hp.com/us/en/workstations/machine-learning/overview.html OneLife: Integrated Design + Software Experience // Designing Products That Fit In at Home and Work 15
