LETTER FROM HP’S CEO
In Spanish, there’s an old saying:
“Quien cuando puede no quiere;
cuando quiere no puede.” Essentially, it
means take advantage of opportunities that
come your way, because they may never
present themselves again.
This spirit has long defined HP. A constant
quest to innovate and create. A never-ending
drive to reinvent ourselves and reimagine
what’s possible—for our company, for our
customers, and for the world.
And this mind-set has never been more
important, because we are living through
the dawn of a new age. Where the cyber and
physical worlds converge in entirely new
ways to create amazing new possibilities.
The future belongs to those who can bridge
these two worlds. The ability to code and
construct. A mastery of data science and
mechanical engineering. Excelling at physi-
cal design and digital experience. To win in
this new age, you need to do it all.
And no one is more prepared for this
moment than HP. We’ve always operated at
the intersection of the digital and the phys-
ical. We’ve viewed change as a catalyst for
innovation. And we are continuing to push
ourselves forward.
As you read this issue and reflect on the vast
opportunities ahead, I encourage you to
think big and be bold. And anchor yourself
in the values you hold dear.
There are some fundamental beliefs that
have always guided me—and they are cen-
tral to the new chapter we are writing at HP.
I want to share a few of them with you.
Imagination is our only limit.
Sometimes, the biggest opportunities are
right in front of us. But if you only see the
world as it is rather than looking at the world
as it can be, they will likely pass you by. It’s
why we must always challenge the status quo,
even when we may have helped to create it.
This thinking is central to our strategy at
HP, and it’s how we continue to build a cul-
ture of reinvention across our company.
Trust is not a commodity.
It has long been said that reputations take
years to earn and seconds to lose. And at a
time when new breakthroughs are changing
the way people live and work, it’s essential that
technology always acts in service of humanity.
This means providing new pathways to
prosperity, while always putting the best
interests of our customers first. This is
how HP has built one of the world’s most
trusted brands, and we will never take that
for granted.
This issue provides a window into what’s
next. We’ve never been content waiting to
see what the future will hold—we work with
our partners to create it, each and every day.
Saludos,
ENRIQUE LORES
President and CEO
How you do things is as important
as what you do.
Companies make choices every day—
about what to sell, who to hire, and how
to serve communities. Often, these are
framed as false choices, as if profit comes
at the expense of purpose. As if we must
choose between making a buck and making
a difference.
Great companies do both, creating
value for shareholders today
while building a brighter
future. This has been part of
HP’s DNA since our earliest
days, and it has never been
more important.
Strategy without execution
is hallucination.
Good ideas mean noth-
ing without execution.
Throughout history, the
most innovative people and
companies were not simply
dreamers, they were also
doers. Those who under-
stood that getting the
small things right
often matters more
than anything.
I’m fortunate to
lead a company
where people not
only imagine what’s
possible but actually
make it happen.
